First Meeting of the Steering Committee for the 18th International Tourism and Related Industries Exhibition in Tehran

The first meeting of the Steering Committee for the 18th International Tourism and Related Industries Exhibition in Tehran was held on December 3, 2024, at the Tourism Department of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts. The meeting was attended by committee members and relevant officials, including:

• Mr. Shalbafian, the esteemed Deputy Minister of Tourism at the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts;

• Mr. Rafiei, President of the Iranian Association of Air Travel and Tourism Agencies;

• Mr. Zinalli, Director General of Provincial Affairs and Non-Governmental Organizations at the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts;

• Along with other officials and organizers involved in the exhibition.

During the meeting, the committee discussed and reviewed matters and plans related to organizing the 18th International Tourism and Related Industries Exhibition. Members emphasized the significance of this event for the development of Iran’s tourism industry and the promotion of its vast potential. They also shared opinions and suggestions to ensure the exhibition’s successful execution.

The exhibition, scheduled to take place at the Tehran International Permanent Fairground from February 11 to 14, 2025, across 17 halls, will provide an excellent platform to showcase the latest achievements and services in the tourism industry. It will also serve as a valuable opportunity to attract new investments in this sector.

The committee underlined that all actions and plans should prioritize the interests of all industry stakeholders, including companies, organizations, and the widespread participation of the private sector.
