Zurab Pololikashvili, Secretary-General of the UN Tourism, is set to participate in the 17th Tehran International Exhibition of Tourism and Related Industries

According to the Director General of Domestic Tourism Development at the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts,

Zurab Pololikashvili  will travel to Iran for this event, underscoring the global significance of the exhibition.

UN Tourism has identified investments as one of the key priorities for tourism’s recovery and future growth and development.

The approach is in line with 2024 World Tourism Day’s motto “Tourism & Green Investment”, which calls on the international community, governments, multilateral financial institutions, development partners, and private sector investors to unite around a new tourism investment strategy.

The exhibition, scheduled from February 12 to 15, 2024, will take place at the Tehran Permanent Fairground, offering a platform to showcase the latest developments in Iran’s tourism industry
